CHURCH

Grace Methodist Church was constitued on 8th Nov 1970 and the place of worship was at 61 Wishart Road, the former premise of Telok Blangah Chinese Methodist Church. Rev. Alfred Yeo was the first pastor appointed to this congregation. Construction work for the present building at 398, Telok Blangah Road began on January 1997 and was completed in April 1998. The first worship service at the present building was held on 5th April 1998 and the church building was dedicated on 7th November 1999. The current pastor-in-charge is Rev. Dr. Lee Kok Pheng (Daniel).

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)


MISSION

To ensure that this generation, and generations to come, accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour, be His true followers, and in obedience faithfully fulfill His great commission (Matthew 28:19)


STRATEGY

  1. To cultivate a life of (i) Worship (ii) Prayer (iii) Witness, and (iv) Service.
  2. To train followers of Jesus Christ to be effective in fulfilling the great commission.
  3. To encourage fellow believers to love one another.
  4. To impart skills and knowledge of fulfilling the great commission from one generation to another.

OUTCOME

The Church will become the light and salt of Christ in demonstration of God's love and power in the community.
