Befriending People with Chronic Illnesses
How can we journey meaningfully with those living with chronic illness?
This training equips church members with a deeper understanding of chronic medical conditions and practical communication skills to engage sensitively with individuals facing long-term health challenges. Participants will also learn about the emotional journey following a diagnosis through the Kübler-Ross Model of Grief.
The session includes sharing by the MWS Chaplaincy team on understanding dementia, ministering to stroke patients, and accompanying individuals in the journey of dying well.
Join us as we learn to serve with compassion, empathy and Christ-centred love.
