Practices:
Unless otherwise notified, band practices for the respective services usually take place at the following times:
The Audio & Visual Crew are a group of important people who work behind-the-scenes to make sure that the sound and lights are ready for action during church services. Audio training is provided for those who are new on the job. There is also training for operating the visual elements of the service, such as lighting and working lyric- projection programmes like Easi-Worship.
The Audio & Visual Crew person on duty needs to be present at the band practice for the specific service (either 9am or 11.15am service) that they are serving in on Sunday.
The Choir presents songs of praise at the 9am service twice a month (usually the 2nd and 4th Sundays). They are looking forward to singing weekly at the 9am service in future. The Choir is richly blessed with five conductors from our church! We warmly welcome members who want to render songs of praise to God to join us.
Practices:
Every Sunday, after the 9am service. The practice should end at about 1pm.
Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! – Psalm 96:9
Let them praise His name with the dance; let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. – Psalm 149:3
The Dance Ministry aims to help Christians worship God freely and creatively, through dance, with tambourines and banners. There are youths, young adults and adults in this ministry. They join the music team and dance on the first Sunday of each month and also present a dance as their offering of praise on other special Sundays. They also participate in special church and inter-church events such as evangelistic musicals, Christmas outreach events and others.
