YOUNG ADULTS (YA)

Young Adult Fellowship _2006

The Young Adults (YA) started with a small group of passionate young adults in the late 1990s who wanted to build a community where they could find support after 'graduating' from the Youth Ministry. Since then, many changes have taken place in YA.

Today, the YA consists of members in different phases of life. We have students to working adults, singles to the married, with some entering into exciting life as parents. Despite our differences, we have a common vision which is to build radical spirit-filled young adult disciples who live out the great commandment and are devoted to the great commission.

The key focuses in this transformation are discipleship and prayer. To facilitate this transformation, the six small groups meet weekly with discipleship focus and a combined YA Empowered meeting on the first Thursday of every month to allow the YA to come together for bonding and fellowship, growing in God's word, evangelism and a time to seek the Lord and praising Him for His mighty work in our midst.

We believe as written in Psalm 126:1 that "unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain". As such, YA come together every Sunday to seek God and to surrender the plans that we have. We pray that the prayers will give birth to a much anticipated and needed revival in the YA!

YA Empowered (combine small groups): Every First Thursday of the month, 8pm, space 79
